Salmon Club Sandwich

I had this sandwich when I visited Carmel. It was so good, I thought I should try to make it. But I couldn't find the right sauce and I need to learn how to cook salmon better. Mine never comes out juicy. sigh~

Plain Cheese Cake

My dad requested me to make an extra cheese cake for our nice neighbor that gave us some grass for our front yard. I got this recipe from the 3lb Phili Cream Cheese box.
My dad gave it away, so I didn't get a chance to see what it tasted like.

1lb Cream Cheese

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup sugar

2 eggs

Crust

1 cup salted butter

1/3 cup sugar

2 cup flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mochia Sesame Cheesecake

I got the idea of mixing these two flavors together from gelato I had in SF. My friend has recommended me to try the Sesame flavored gelato, and I added the mochia flavor to make two scoops. The flavor is really good together. Sesame can be rich and greasy, mochia removes the greasy taste, leaving only the raw sesame flavor. I made this for the first time, and I shared with some of my friends. I am not sure if they are just being nice or what. But they told me that it tasted pretty good. Some thought it didn't taste like cheese cake.
It came out a bit dry because it was so thin. This is only my first try. Next time I will make it thicker, 1/2 cup of sugar, and less sesame powder.
I have put the adjustments in ( ).

1lb Cream Cheese

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup sugar (or 1/2 cup if you like it a bit sweeter)

2 tablespoon black sesame powder (1 tablespoon would probably be enough)

2 tablespoon mochia powder

2 eggs
